Indian English Literature is deep rooted in Indian soil and Indian consciousness. It has a great tradition beginning from medieval ages. Regional literatures have a great influence on Indian Writings in English. The book contains seven research articles investigating a variety of themes and techniques prevalent in contemporary Indian Writings in English. It deals extensively with Indian culture, Indian sensibilities, Indian philosophical and spiritual perspectives, human relations, contemporary socio-political issues and cultural conflicts.

Dr. Samadhan Subhash Mane, Asst. Professor of English, is recognized Research Supervisor for Ph.D. & M.Phil. He has authored 3 & edited 2 books, published 23 research papers & contributed 3 chapters to edited books. He has carried out Doctoral Research in Pragmatics & has delivered expert lectures at a number of International and National events.
